The Introduction of Mentor System

The mentor system is a complete innovation of the leveling mode of the traditional online games, which also comtribrutes to the new component of the social structure of "Eudemon Online".

Eudemon online encourages the passing of experience, and the system will award the mentors and apprenticeS that involved in the system richly.

The mentor system has two mainlines: the growth of the apprentice and the leveling of the mentor.And the web of passing experience between mentors and beginners extends to every corner of the game.

If you want to be one of the mentor system, please read the following paragraphs carefully.

Begginers? Club

The Beginners? Club is an organization only for the mentor system, whose pricipal is Shelley(CronusCity 275,380). You can get information of mentors and all kinds of convenient functions of the Beginners? Club from her.

Talk to Shelly and there will be a dialog frame which contains five options.

The first is to issue a mentor?s placard. If your level is over 40 and have got a mentor?s level, you can issue a placard to help others. Because the placard?s target are the beginners, you can write all the help that you can offer in it.

The second is for beginners to find a mentor. After checking the mentors? placard, a beginner can select one and the system will send an appliance to the mentor automatically.

The third one is to edit your placard.

The fourth one is to upgrade your mentor?s level. You need 5000 points of mentor?s experience to be at level 1(junior mentor) and 10000 to be at level 2(senior mentor).A junior mentor can have five apprentice and a senior one can have ten.

The fifth one is to draw the experience contributed by your apprentice at the cost of your mentor?s experience. The higher the mentor level you are at, the more experience you can get out of the same mentor?s experience.

     To be a mentor or an apprentice

There are two ways to be a mentor or apprentice.

If you are a beginner, you can select a mentor at the Beginners? Club.

You can also use the "Add" and "Accept" function in the Mentor & Apprentice Interface. If you have been a mentor, you can click "Accept" when you see a beginner and click him. After his confirmation, he will become your apprentice. But you should notice that if his level is over 40 or he has got a mentor, you can?t "Accept" him. The operation of "Being an apprentice" is almost the same as "Being a mentor". But the precondition of "Being an apprentice" successfully is that the one you applied has been a mentor and still can have apprentice.

The growth of beginners and the passing of experience from mentors to apprentice

As a beginner, if you get a mentor, you will gain extra experience in battle. If you and your mentor are in the same team, you will gain more extra experience.

As a mentor, if your apprentice?s level is over 30 under your direction, you can gain the contributed experience continually from the system, decided by the degree of diligence of your apprentice. The more experience your apprentice got in the battle, the more contributed experience you get from the system. The contributed experience will be deposited in the Beginners? Club which you can draw out of your mentor?s experience.

But that will be only a small progress if there is only one-to-one award. The reason that the mentor system of "Eudemon Online" has caught so much attention of the online game circle is that if your apprentice has also been a mentor, his apprentice will also contribute experience to you. And this process will go on neverlessly.

The mentor system brings the affection of the real world into game, which will last for ever through certain reward. The boring leveling and monster killing have become history, only the affection between mentor and apprentice will last. Only the passing of knowledge and experience is the main rhythm of "Eudemon Online"!

Key Words of the mentor system

Add

You have two ways to find a mentor: you can either select a mentor at the Beginners? Club or to use the "Add" function on the Mentor & Apprentice interface, provided that your level is lower than 40.

Accept

You can have two ways to accept a apprentice: an apprentice may send an appliance to you at the Beginner?s Club, then you accept; or to use the "Accept" function on the Mentor & Apprentice interface, provided that you have been qualified a mentor and you haven?t accept enough number of apprentice.

Junior Apprentice

If your apprentice have been a mentor, his apprentice will be your junior apprentice. When he is over level 30, he will also contribut experience to you, too.

Mentor?s experience

When you are over level 40, you can get mentor?s experience by having players less than 40 level in your team. You can use mentor?s experience to upgrade your mentor?s level and draw your apprentice?s contributed experience.

Mentor?s level

You can upgrade your mentor?s level at the cost of your mentor?s experience. Different mentor level decides the number of apprentice you can have and the contributed experience you can draw.

Contributed Experience

When a apprentice is over 30 ,his mentor can get his contributed experience from his battle experience.(extra experience gained from the system, without any influence to the apprentice?s normal experience gain) The contributed experience is deposited in the Beginners? Club.You can draw the experience at the cost of your mentor?s experience. The higher the mentor level you are at, the more experience contributed by your apprentice you can get out of the same mentor?s experience.

When you think that you are capable enough to conquer the Eudemon Online world alone, you can choose to leave your mentor."(You can find the funtion in the Mentor & Apprentice?s interface.) But at the same time, your level will be reduced by 3.

Expel

If you want to expel your apprentice, we suggest you take a second thought. Your mentor?s experience will be deducted by 600000 points for every apprentice you expelled.
